Radio Wiring Harness

Main Radio wiring harness
  • If your car DID NOT come with RNS-E Navigation  need the SRWH-AUD2-HILO
  • If your car came with RNS-E Navigation you need the SRWH-AUD3-HILO

Steering Wheel Control Wire

The harnesses above cannot use your factory steering wheel controls without this wire.  It programs the small box for the radio you are installing.
If you are installing a android radio use the universal one.

Plug and Play Converter

The harnesses below have an ISO connector instead of bare wires on the end of them.  This plug and play converter will go straight into some radios without cutting a single wire.  Check the google sheet on this products page to see if your radio will connect directly of of you will need to buy a converter to do a plug and play easy peasy installation.

Radio Mounting Kit

This part hold the radio in place and fills the gaps around the radio for a factory finish.
We do not have a kit for the 2.5″ tall radios.

AM/FM Antenna adapter

The factory antenna in your car is not the same shape as your aftermarket radio.  These adapters convert the shape and power the factory antenna booster.
  • If your car DID NOT come with RNS-E Navigation you need the AAA-VWAUD2
  • If your car came with RNS-E Navigation you need the AAA-VWAUD5

Factory Fit Microphone

Custom Factory Fit Microphone

This part is made to fit in your cars factory microphone location.  Not only will you get better sound quality but since it is mounted behind the factory panel you will not have to see an ugly mic hanging off your headliner.

Only cars that came with OnStar came with a factory microphone location.

SiriusXM Antenna Adapter

Some 2002-2005 US Audi A6’s have a Sirius XM antenna on the roof.  This wire is connected to the tuner in the trunk.  The SAA-SIR600 is made to connect to the factory Sirius XM antenna cable in the trunk on the left side.

All SiriusXM ready radios require this external tuner in order to listen to SirusXM.

GPS Antenna Adapter

All aftermarket radios with GPS or Wireless CarPlay/Android Auto come with an external GPS antenna.
All 2002-2005 Audi A6’s with a factory GPS radio  have a factory GPS antenna that you can use with your aftermarket radio using this adapter.

If your 2002-2005 US A6 did not have factory navigation the antenna on the roof still may have a GPS antenna cable.  The cable is on the drivers side behind the Sirius tuner.

You will need this extension cable  to connect to this cable.  And also the cable above to connect to the radio.

Radio Removal Keys

The Concert II radio needs 2 keys the rest of the radios need 4 keys to be removed.

Panel Pry Tools

These tools come in handy when removing the cars interior trim.

Radios

These are the radios we recommend for your car.

Videos

This videos covers the full installation on cars with the Symphony radios.

If you have the RNS-E radio this video is for you.  The video above covers the full installation on cars without RNS-E but this video covers the wiring.
