This unit plays Bluetooth music using the external CD changer port to communicate with your factory radio.

Bluetooth music including navigation prompts.
3.5mm aux port on the box. Will probably never be used but its there just in case.
The Bluetooth module is connected to an old 30 pin iPod cable that can be used with older iPods for music and charging.
This unit does not support song up and down controls from the radio and/or steering wheel controls. Select your car from the product menu above to see other options for your car.
Addons
Enfig RRK4 – keys required to remove the CD changer.
PKT-VW07 – Pocket to full the hole where the CD changer or iPod dock was.
Compatible Cars
Connects at the External CD changer location or replaces the factory installed iPod dock. Because if the difficulty of running the microphone if your connection is in the trunk it is recommended you use the behind the radio version unless you are not planning on using this unit for calls.
Volkswagen
Beetle 1998-2010 – Car must have a CD changer in the trunk or between the seats.
CC 2008-2009 – Car must have iPod dock in the glove box. If the car has an MDI connection use the GBL3VW1 behind the radio.
Cabrio 1998-2002 – Car must have a CD changer in the trunk.
EOS 2008-2009 – Car must have a CD changer or iPod dock between the seats.
Golf 1999-2005 – All cars have the CD changer connection in the trunk.
Golf 2006-2009 – Car must have a CD changer or iPod dock between the seats.
GTI 1999-2005 – All cars have the CD changer connection in the trunk.
GTI 2006-2009 – Car must have a CD changer or iPod dock between the seats.
Jetta 2000-2004 – All cars have the CD changer connection in the trunk.
Jetta 2006-2009 – Car must have a CD changer or iPod dock between the seats.
Passat 1999-2005- All cars have the CD changer connection in the trunk.
Passat 2006-2009 – Car must have a CD changer or iPod dock between the seats.
R32 2004 – All cars have the CD changer connection in the trunk.

I waited too long to get this. This is a lot easier and cheaper than upgrading the VW EOS radio. The sound quality is fantastic and it took me just minutes to pull out the iPod dock and plug it in. Bluetooth connects instantly when I turn on the car and no issues with dropping. A great product!

I went ahead and installed this to replace my old ipod dock connection and it worked like a champ. The youtube instructions was solid and it only took me 10 minutes for the install. I recommend this if you just want the bluetooth capabilities without having to upgrade your stock radio unit.

The adapter works great in my 2009 Jetta Sportwagen. One wire connection and bluetooth works flawlessly. Only issue is I didn’t know if I was going to get a tracking number as about a week passed after I ordered it and nothing. There was a tracking # eventually.
