This fit securely into the existing VW USB housing bracket on a 2016 Beetle, and worked exactly as expected. It plugged into the aftermarket head unit (Boss BE62CP) without an issue. It made my at-home install look like a professional job.

Installed in my 2016 Jetta. I kept trying to install it oriented incorrectly in the mounting sleeve and I thought Iโd have to modify it. But, by chance I installed it in the correct orientation and it fit perfectly. My fault entirely, but it would be very helpful if there was some indication of the correct alignment into the mounting sleeve.

Fit right into the 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg. The hard part was getting the stock port out. Clean factory look. Easy connection to the aftermarket head unit. Couldn’t do what it needs to any better.
