Great Product & Great Service – Installed the XAV-AX100 in an E46 BMW. Installation was straightforward and greatly aided by the YouTube video. The unit works really well, especially the Apple CarPlay. The equalizer function is also very powerful. The hardware seems to be well made. Steering wheel controls and Bluetooth phone functions work well. We had one question during installation. I called Enfig and got it sorted in about 2 minutes. Thanks guys!

Fast and easy – I’ve been looking to upgrade the headunit in my e46 for a while now and stumbled across Enfig via YouTube. There are a lot of options out there for my car but I decided to go with this kit because it looked quality and had the best options. I am extremely happy I finally went ahead and bought it. The stereo is great, and all of the hardware enfig provides works perfectly. If you are looking to upgrade your e46 like I was, this kit is for you.

Simple, Fast, Easy – I love my E46, I love looking at it, and I love driving it. However listening to music in my E46 always felt like a chore. The OEM stereo while fine for its time is extremely dated and lacks modern convienences that we have become accustomed to. I implemented solutions like installing an Auxiliary cable, and Bluetooth adapters, but always felt kind of jealous when I was in one of my friends newer cars with fancy infotainment systems. So I decided it was time for an upgrade.
Enfig provided the tools and know how to easily install this Sony headhnit in my car. It only took about an hour and the video instructions were easy to follow. Now I have android auto and Apple CarPlay in my e46. Now people can get jealous when they see my new setup. Great products, fast service, and great instructions. You can’t ask for anything else. If you are on the fence about buying this, do it! You won’t regret it!

Wow – New car features in my favorite ride! – My son found this kit for me with encouragement from my wife.
I’ve had my 2002 M3 convertible for 16 years and it’s a blast to drive, but I found myself noticing more and more in recent years how well the new car stereos integrate with my iPhone when I’m on a business trip. I’d miss driving my car on the trips, but the stereo and speakerphone options were really nice.
We found Christian’s YouTube video instructions for this Sony XAV-AX100 unit and were convinced it was a perfect upgrade for my M3. We received the “kit” package for E46 and installed it the same night. We had one small question that Christian, “the guy in the video,” cleared up for us within the first 2 minutes of our phone call. He said he would re-label the wire in question more clearly after hearing about our confusion.
A great guy to talk to and the unit … with enfig’s custom wiring harness and brackets … was amazingly easy to install and looks like original equipment.

Sony Stereo – I got the Sony XAV-AX5000 to replace my old stereo, and just give my car a general upgrade. Enfig made the install very simple and very quick, especially with their youtube videos online. I watched the video provided online and followed everything he did step by step. I had a small issue in the beginning, but it was nothing Christian couldn’t help me with. I gave him a call and he helped me within minutes. If you are debating between a stereo from Enfig and a stereo from some other company, I would highly recommend going with Enfig. Their customer service was awesome and the stereo itself was basically plug and play. I would definitely recommend their products and services to a friend or to anyone wondering what they should do.

Super helpful – I purchased a Sony kit for my 2001 BMW 330i. I made a mistake during install and did not have any sound coming from the speakers. I emailed Enfig, and they got back to me right away, and quickly identified the problem. Thank you!

Works well – It worked on my 1999 E46 328i. The connectors and brackets were easy enough to figure out. The YouTube video was really helpful. It was not mentioned in it but you have to connect Antenna wires (blue) together.
I actually made a mistake when I ordered 1 button kit vs. 5 buttons. Mine was 5 buttons even though it looked 1 button. If there is a slit right beside a button (my case ASC), yours needs 5 buttons. (I ended up crafting a lid.) I guess 1st gen of E46 needs 5 buttons.
Overall, I’m really satisfied and glad I got this kit installed, SONY radio sounds great even my old speaker system (non HK), it is day-n-night difference from the original CD player radio.

Great – It was a great experience it took like 4 hours but it was a semi easy installation but when you put in your radio make sure to hook up the parking brack (either ground it or actually find a way to hook it to the parking brake) because I didnt and I couldn’t play video so I couldn’t make maps come on the radio screen anyway this was a great kit I just wish the panel tools came with the kit
