Buy This Mic – ’06 Passat B6. Fits perfectly. Took a bit to find the right data online to pull down the control panel to get to the built in mic slot, but once I figured it out, it fit perfectly. Sound quality is excellent. Christian’s video for similar model VW’s helped in running the cable across the windshield and down the A pillar. Different models, being, well, different models the last bit across the glove box and to the Dension box took a bit of creativity. All in all 5 stars.

2009 Jetta MIC-VW1 – SPH-DA120 Installation, premium 7 removed – Easy installation directed by your video. A little confused as to the placement of the microphone – as configured it fits perfectly in the overhead fixture as the tabs only allow it to be aligned one way. When I read comments on the web some say it should point down, some towards the windshield, your video shows it pointing at the driver/passenger. In any case, it works and is hidden, which was the goal.

Mic-VW1 – The mic is easy to mount in a VW Golf 6. Works verry well with a Alpine headunit and Bluetooth module (kce-420bt). The cable of the KCE-420 is modified with a mono jack socket on the end of the cable. Only the housing of the mic doesn’t fit 100%. The hooks on the ground plate, where the mic is pushed in. Maybe it’s possible for Enfig made some adjustments in the 3D-printed housing.

Simply Amazing – I purchased this for use with the Kenwood DMX-7704s after hearing Christian mention it in one of his install videos. When he mentioned it, he didnt specifically say it would work with Kenwood. Well, it works brilliantly. Install took all of about 10 minutes and i replaced the stock Kenwood mic with this unit. I called a few friends who had previously complained about how it sounded like i was in a cave talking to them and they both said the difference was night and day.
So, if you not only want a mic that is hidden out of the way but also picks up better than the one that came with your head unit, you cant go wrong with this one.

Perfect! – I wanted to update the radio/stereo head in my 2013 VW CC as the system was clunky and I really wanted an updated unit. During the process of purchasing new equipment I found out that I couldnโt use the OEM backup camera and would have to use an aftermarket unit – Bummer! During my YouTube search on how to replace the camera I came upon the install videos of Enfig Car Stereo. Not only was Christian doing an install on a 2013 CC, but he was using the OEM camera! I called immediately and he seriously hooked me up. He had everything I needed for the install, I didnโt have to cut one wire and everything worked as it should. Seamless install – I learned about the Enfig MIC-VW1 when I was upgrading the stereo in my 2013 Passat. I had already purchased the remainder of the installation gear from another vendor. I did not like the appearance of the aftermarket Mic included with the stereo.
I was impressed with Christianโs Enfig installation videos. My order arrived within a couple of days and my installation was just as easy as the video. Christainโs tip on removing the passengerโs side a-pillar cover most likely saved me from tons of frustration. I have had the product for a little over a month and it has performed great.

Perfect Solution – I paired this microphone with a new Pioneer DMH-2660NEX. I carefully removed the stock microphone and zip tied to a cable inside the headliner. This microphone clipped right into the space vacated by the OEM microphone. Plenty of cable length to run to the back of the head unit. Sound quality seems to be as good as the OEM unit. This is a great addition. It fit in the OEM mic location perfectly. If I hadn’t installed it myself, I wouldn’t know it was there. Granted I tried to clip it in backward a couple of times before I discovered the error of my ways, the correct direction pops in easy, if you have to force it, you’re doing it wrong. Christian’s youtube video walked me running the wire with ease, do yourself a favor, and use the zip-tie as he did. I tried numerous other methods before looking for one (or two) to use.
I haven’t tested to hear how I sound through it personally, but the wife had no complaints when I called her, four thumbs up there. Siri understood me well enough to dictate text messages via Carplay so It must be an excellent mic!

I’ll give it 4 stars only on the fact that the audio quality is not what I was hoping it was going to be. It might a few factors that lead to the audio quality of the mic. Maybe it’s picking up road noise through the cable? It could be crossing some power lines as well? But that being said I love that it installs in the factory spot. And I’m still using it so it’s not that bad! I just have to project my voice a bit more. No yelling though so that’s good!

Great Replacement!! – Hey Christian, Iโve been watching your videos to figure out what to buy and how to install a CarPlay stereo and a back-up camera. Iโve got a 2013 Volkswagen GTI and I LOVE my car so I wanted to make sure I didnโt screw anything up. I ended up investing in the enfig mic so I didnโt have to use the dinky microphone that came with the stereo but also because I wanted it to be hidden like the original. It was SUPER easy to install, thanks to the videos, and I am sooo happy I invested in the part! There are no extra wires and the mic picks up so much better than the after market stereo. Hey couldnโt anything similar and it was a perfect fit where the OEM mic was. Thank you!!

Enfig MIC-VW1 – I Installed this microphone in a 2015 Passat TDI SEL. Perfect fit and allowed the microphone to remain hidden and not have to install aftermarket radio mic that would be visible and an eye sore. Works great.

Works great – Just like the title review. I love everything about the product. I was looking for plug and play cords and harness to replay my navigation/radio system at my car. Initially I called and talked to someone, Chris-I think, told him my car make and model and the radio Iโm planning to purchase. He had patience with me, which Iโm very grateful. I donโt know much above cars so I was looking for compatible harness plug and play so I wouldnโt have to cut the cords. After the phone conversation he replied with an email and all the cords and harness I need. I ordered them, everything worked as described.
Plug and play. It was a SONY radio with apple play I bought. Steering wheel commands and back camera, everything is working. Highly recommend!

The microfhone operate fine but all together it has cost me about 50 dollars. I think that this is too much for this product.

Perfect OEM replacement – I upgraded the HU on my 2011 GTi – bought the maestro rr kit. Using android auto and all works great with the exception of voice commands while in android auto. I did not want (nor I had) the kenwood external mic. Bought this oem style and works great! Now I can be driving (I have manual) and give commands without having to pull over. Highly suggest if you are upgrading your HU and want clean install plus using android auto/carplay.

This mic fit perfectly into a 2016 VW Beetle, installed in the overhead light assembly. There was plenty or length in the wire to go around the roof line, down the pillar, behind the glove box and into the new head unit (Boss BE62CP). It allowed me to hide the microphone in the existing housing maintaining the factory appearance.

VW OEM Mic – For 2 years I’ve been searching a way to get the mic to work with my aftermarket headunit. Thanks to Enfig I finally can talk thru the car speakers and the sound quality is great too, people hear me perfectly. You might hear small popping while talking but that’s due to the very low bluetooth chip quality on these chinese radios. Mic itself works perfectly 10/10 would recommend.

Jetta sportwagen and one in my
Tiguan. When I changed my head unit and connected the adaptors that promised to allow
My Factory Bluetooth system to work, I was so excited. Low and behold, the factory Bluetooth system did NOT integrate well, so I decided to use the head unitโs Bluetooth systemโฆ.but now the mic didnโt work. I came across these and ordered Immediately. Thank goodness for these. Install was exactly like Christianโs video (I love the zip tie move to guide the mic from the overhead and out of the headliner).

OEM Vw mic for aftermarket radios – I absolutely love this microphone. I was a little hesitant on ordering it at first. But the installation was super easy. This mic works 100 times better the the cheap mics that come with the pioneer and alpine radios. For any volkswagen jetta or gold owner with an aftermarket radio that hates the look of the mic hanging from the headliner, i totally recommend you get this mic.
