Our harness includes our HIO box. Not only does the box make everything sound better it also prevents almost all engine noise and turn on and off pop. The 2002 also has canbus in the radio. That is why this harness is more than the 2001.
If your car has steering wheel controls this harness activates the electronics for steering wheel controls in the harness above.
The harnesses above have an ISO connector instead of bare wires on the end of them. Some radios may have this connection but most will not. This part will connect between the harness above and your radio so you can install without cutting a single wire.
-Even if we do not have a converter for your radio we recommend you get the universal PNP-UNI so the harness above remains uncut..
Use the list below to figure out which one you need.
This kit audi A3 kit fits pretty good with the 2000-2002 Audi A8 with a little modification. You just have to shave off the backplate where it is supposed to attach to the screws on the A3. Then you have to drill 4 small holes in the backplate through the car frame and use a screw and bolt to attach together. If you own a 1998-1999 we have a few single din kits that should work if you can stop by for a test fit.
The factory antenna in your car is not the same shape as your aftermarket radio. This adapter converts the shape and powers the factory antenna booster. It will also use both of your antenna wires.
If your car has a factory mic in the overhead panel you can use this mic instead of the one that came with your radio. Since its hidden in the factory location not only does it sound better but it looks better too.
These are the keys needed to remove your radio. Your car needs 2 keys but other cars need 4 just in case you want to order a couple more.
These tools come in handy when removing the cars interior trim.
