Installed an aftermarket radio about a month ago and was having issues with the provided mic since day one. Stumbled across a YouTube video where someone installed a mic from Enfig. It had very good reviews and I also liked how it kept the OEM look, so I decided to give it a try. The mic works perfect and solved the issues I had with the original. Ordered their KFU-VW1 online for a 2017 Tiguan Wolfsburg and it worked perfectly. I purchased the Enfig VWT-IPDU-AUX for a 2009 VW Jetta and I must say it was the easiest install I have ever done. That being said I also purchased the USB console port for a clean install. The USB console port was not reconized by the Denison Lightning interface. When I connected an Apple Lightning to USB cable the Denison recognized it. I then connected the USB console port to my computer and the USB console port worked. I called Enfig and they sent me a replacement wire for the USB console port and the Denison Lightniing interface still did not recognize it. I now have an Apple Lightning cable sticking out of my console. Not the clean install i was looking for.
