The mic fits into the existing slot. I’m glad Christian recommended this instead of the mic that came with the Dension bluetooth unit.

You guys are great to deal with…but the shipping to Canada takes way too long. My package went to Cambodia and I’m still waiting for it to arrive 4 weeks later. So I’d say the shipping is over priced for the weight and shipping time.

Works perfectly, the 3D-printed microphone housing press-fits into the dome light trim where the original Audi mic is. I carefully cracked open the housing of the microphone that came with my Sony head unit and fit it into this housing. Routing the wiring around the headliner, A-pillar trim, and behind the glovebox was easy following Christian’s video guide.
