This unit plays Bluetooth music using the external CD changer port to communicate with your factory radio.

The Bluetooth module is connected to an old 30 pin iPod cable that can be used with older iPods for music and charging.

Audi A3/S3/RS3 2006-2007 Cars with RNS-E Navigation only. If you do not have a CD changer or iPod dock in the glove box this is not the original radio that came with the car from the factory.
Audi A3/S3/RS3 2008-2013
Audi A4/S4 2004-2006 Cars with RNS-E Navigation only. If you do not have a CD changer or iPod dock in the glove box this is not the original radio that came with the car from the factory.
Audi A4/S4/RS4 2007-2008 Car must have CD changer or iPod dock in the gloveย box.
Audi A4/S4/RS4 2009 Convertible Car must have CD changer or iPod dock in the glove box.
Audi R8 2008-2009 All cars have the iPod dock or CD changer in the middle behind the seats.
Audi TT/TTS/TTRS 2007-2009 Cable should be located behind the left pocket in the glove box.

When I first purchased my 2008 Audi A4 I was really upset it didn’t have an Aux port or Bluetooth. I tried using an FM transmitter, but it was hard to find a station that would give me clear audio consistently, and road trips I was always having to change the station every few miles.
I eventually checked out YouTube and found a video about this Enfig audio install that replaced the 30 pin iPod plug. Install was extremely easy. I left the iPod plug box in to keep the clean look, but no wires are exposed, looks 100% stock still. Audio quality is great, I haven’t had any problems with connection at all. 100% would recommend!

It was a super easy install. I bought the keys that are required and the plastic cubby that covered up the wires. Although the cubby isnโt of the highest quality, it still was able to cover up the โribsโ from the cd changer.

Got this for my 2008 Audi A4 Convertible as a way to add a quality Bluetooth connection with the easiest possible installation (replacing the manufacturer iPod connection on the glove compartment)- thus this was a great match and it was so simple to install. The quality of the Bluetooth connection is superb but this system also provides the ability to connect a 3.5mm audio cable or your old iPod directly to the cable. For me this was a pleasant surprise- I was willing to sacrifice the Audi old iPod plug for a Bluetooth option, but with this kit I don’t have to sacrifice the older generations iPod connectivity at all, I just unplug the Bluetooth receiver and connect any of the 3 old iPods which I still have around the house. I imagine that this item probably works for some customers with a 2008 Audi A4, but not for mine! I get a constant deep hum once it connects. I have attempted to have this resolved by contacting Enfig numerous times since I received the item in early October. After 2 months, and $135.00 Canadian and no response, I have simply given up. I’ll throw it out and go back to using the iPod connection in the glovebox.

I ordered the adapter from Enfig and it was delivered the next week and in good condition. I followed the instructions in the box and watched a video on youtube specific to my Audi 2006 TT Roadster and within 30 minutes everything was installed and working. I was surprised when everything worked so quickly.
I am an accountant and mechanical stuff is not my expertise, this installation was about the easiest thing I ever did.
It is really nice to have bleutooth service in my car now.
