This unit plays music from your phone using the external CD changer port to communicate with your factory radio. It uses the display in your speedometer to show song and call information. Next and previous song can be done from your radio and/or steering wheel controls. Charging can also be done through the USB connection.

The EXT1CP2 box is recommended because it has a status light that helps with troubleshooting. It also has a reset button in case you ever need to reset the unit.
Music from your iPhone through the USB port. When connected through USB to your iPhone you can browse to Artists Songs Albums Playlists (Apple Music Stations also).
1A iPhone charging through the USB port. There is not benefit for non iPhone so we recommend using an external charger for these phones.
Does not interfere with factory Bluetooth for calls.
For call information to show up the car must be programmed for a factory phone. Car does not have to be programmed for music information.
Not compatible with cars that do not have steering wheel controls.
Only cars that have the mode button can show call information.

Enfig AUDI-SAT-PASS-1 Installing this cable retains your factory satellite radio. We must merge the interface harness with the sat pass in order to work.
Compatible Cars
This adapter connects behind the radio on all cars. Since this unit is fully controlled through the steering wheel controls the car must have steering wheel controls. All cars will display song information. Only cars with rolling steering wheel controls have the ability to display caller info. The phone port must be activated for caller information to be displayed. Cars that have steering wheel controls with 3 buttons on each side must have left and right arrows on the bottom buttons or this unit is not compatible.
