This unit plays Bluetooth music and call audio using the external CD changer port to communicate with your factory radio. The unit also has a USB port to play music off of a memory stick, a USB adapter for iPhones is also available. This unit also comes with a microphone for phone calls. (a factory fit microphone is also available for purchase below.)
Features
-Bluetooth phone calls.
-Picks up phone calls by pressing next song on radio and/or steering wheel controls.
-Hangs up phone calls/reject calls by pressing previous song button.
-Wireless Bluetooth music with song up and down controls from radio and/or steering wheel.
-Music off of USB sticks with folder browsing. USB stick must be formatted to FAT32 and no larger than 64GB.
-The Bluetooth connection pin is 8888, we mention this here because it is hard to find in the owners manual.

Dension LIA1GW0 – This adapter converts the round 9 pin connector on the blue box into a USB connection for charging and control of an iPhone.
Posi-Tap EX150B – This product simplifies connecting the ground cable that is required for installation. See product for instructional video.
Enfig RRK4 – keys required to remove the factory radio.
Enfig MIC-AUD4 – Factory fit microphone for better sound quality and a stealth installation.
Enfig ISO-10PIN – Holds the mute pin onto the back of the radio.
Dension CABLE-AUX – This adapter converts the round 9 pin connector on the blue box into a male 3.5mm aux.
Dension iPo5DC9 – This adapter converts the round 9 pin connector on the blue box into an old 30 pin connection for iPods.

I have only done a quick test run of the Dension interface on my 2001 Audi A6 with the Bose symphony system as I have yet to make time to actually install it properly. Let me say that just with the test run I was blown away on how much better my music sounds. Running via bluetooth has really breathed new life into my Bose system and saved me from having to rip everything out and build from scratch basically. Definitely sounds great considering it’s a 20 year old factory set up heck I feel it sounds wayy better than my fiancee’s 2019 Altima with the Bose. Can’t wait to get everything set up properly. Install was very smooth. The only slight hiccup was wiring up the ground wire. Please consider making a more straightforward option (and strong suggestion) to purchase a ground connector to tap into the existing ground wire to the radio/CD player existing wiring harness. Great way to Bluetooh in an older car.

The Gateway Lite Bluetooth Denson worked really well for my 2005 Audi TT. Honestly, it was easier than I originally thought and definitely much easier than trying installing an aftermarket stereo system. Plus leaving the Original Factory stereo in my car will retain its value more. I just follow Christian Installation video since I need reading glasses if I follow the written instruction. Definitely recommended!!!
