-Some cars will require you to program the car for a CD changer. From what we can tell cars that do not have a fiber optic amplifier require programming. All cars with a CD changer do not require programming.
-In you are not keeping the CD changer you must use a fiber optic loop to bypass it.
-In order to make calls through this unit your radio must have a TEL button.
-In order to make calls through this unit you must bypass the factory telephone module if equipped. See video below for more information.
If your car has a CD changer and you do not want to do the extra work to keep it you will need this loop to bypass the CD changer or it will conflict with the Dension unit. If you want to use the Dension unit for phone calls and have a phone module you will need to bypass the factory phone module.. There are videos below that show your how to bypass both of these.
This part is the easiest way to tap into your factory power wires for power. You will need one for each wire and we recommend getting an extra one just in case you drop one where you cant reach.
