- Pioneer Radios are the only radios we know that use the smaller 2.5mm jack.
- We also only sell the microphone housing if you want to break the microphone that came with your radio and insert it into our plastic.

Can you hear me now? – I installed this on my a3. There’s an orientation you need to follow for the mic insertion, but it’s pretty self explanatory once you get the upper center console apart.

incredible – You get what you pay for. The set-up from Enfig was extremely easy to install and the finished product is incredible. 2008 S4 Cabriolet with dated system swapped for Pioneer AVIC 8400. Enfig told me what I needed, sent it to me quickly and I had everything done in about two hours. Rather than put the mic where they suggested I put in up through steering wheel column. Still out of sight and works great. If I could figure out how to add a photo that would be worth a lot more than words. Perfect fit. Perfect color. Thank you.

Part no one else carriers – 2009 Audi A3, Enfig has an amazing selection of adapters no one else carries or even seems aware exist. In my case that’s for the space for a hidden microphone for bluetooth handsfree.

Mic installation video for Audi TT Roadster – I purchased this item for a 2008 Audi TT Roadster (convertible). The Enfig website had a video for installing this microphone in an Audi TT Coupe (hardtop), but not the Roadster. I contacted Enfig and within a couple of days they had uploaded a video for wiring the microphone in the Roadster, which made the wiring relatively easy.

Excellent microphone, works great in my 2011 Audi A3. – I removed the factory microphone in my 2011 Audi A3, and installed this product together with a Pioneer car play audio unit. Microphone fits perfectly in the factory reading lights housing, and I installed it following the instructions posted by Enfig. Everything works great.

Audi B7 A4 Microphone – I’ve previously ordered components to install an aftermarket stereo for my Audi from Enfig. Not only did they work perfectly, Christian’s videos on youtube were a huge help for showing me how to install them myself.
Since then I ordered this microphone since the voice quality with the microphone that came with my aftermarket stereo was not very good. This one is much better, people can actually hear me clearly now when driving, and it was a perfect fit into the overhead dome light panel.

Great concept, but too many complaints about wind noise when paired with Sony XAV-AX5000. I’m going to try using the microphone that came with the Sony to see if that makes any difference.

This was the hardest part of the install, but again Enfig’s videos were helpful and ultimately this MIic works great. Just a tip if you have an A4, S4, or RS4 convertible: Total Technik’s YouTube channel has a solid video to help you remove trim and run the Mic.

Every Detail Considered – I’m a DIY guy…. The online install videos that Enfig has put together are so perfectly complete, there was no question. I installed a Pioneer AVH-4200NEX into a 2004 Audi S4. The custom PNP, AUD2-HILO, MIC, and FM antenna adapter was perfect. ALSO, I purchased an install kit from “the other guy” that was garbage!!! The kind that can’t be removed once installed. Unbelievable. Again, I went back to Enfig for there custom install kit with matching dash color. Looks great! Easiest car radio swap that I have ever done! Other great news: the Enfig website is exactly what many need: Input your car, and the Radio you purchased – All compatible products listed, which saved me from hours of frustration! Thank you!

2006 Audi A3 / Sony AX5000 – Microphone works great. Watched install video online and went pretty easy. Pushing it into housing was a little tight but fine. Running wire behind glove box was a bit tough as well. I would probably recommend removing glove box rather than trying to feed wire right past air bag wiring. I ended up removing glove box later for other wiring I saw how close to air bag wiring I was it worried me and would definitely remove instead of feeding, but it’s whatever you’re willing to risk. Mic works great.

More than a mic – The mic works great, but what goes with the mic is the detailed install video. Christian puts an effort to put out his knowledge of all the ins and outs of undoing trim, panels, the angle of the visor screw, etc. that I surely would have broke some pieces trying to conceal the wire. So think of it as buying a mic plus all the effort Christian puts into educating you on the install.

Easy install – Mic went in very easy. I followed the install video they posted online, I was done in about 35 mins. I do have an aftermarket radio and I didn’t realize the port on the radio was a 2.5mm so I did have to get an adapter, but the mic works great, it’s in the factory location with the wire completely hidden. Very happy with the end result.

Brilliant Product & Service – I ordered a microphone for my Audi A3 which could fit in the overhead console and it was perfect! Nicely 3D printed part which fit perfectly and allowed me to use my new head unit without the horrible microphone clipped to the sun visor!

High quality unit but not required if your B7 has an alarm. – This is a high quality mic which could be placed in the overhead console for a hidden mic install in the Audi A4 B7.
However my vehicle in the UK has an alarm interior sensor in this mics proposed place. So I wasted $32 as it was not required. Perhaps the solution was for USA cars.
