This unit plays music from your phone using the external CD changer port to communicate with your factory radio. It uses the display in your speedometer to show song and call information. Next and previous song can be done from your radio and/or steering wheel controls. Charging can also be done through the USB connection.

This unit works with iPhone , Android and other phones.

3.5 mm aux port on EXT1CP2 box. Will probably never be used but its there just in case.
The EXT1CP2 box is recommended because it has a status light that helps with troubleshooting. It also has a reset button in case you ever need to reset the unit.
Music from your iPhone through the USB port. When connected through USB to your iPhone you can browse to Artists Songs Albums Playlists (Apple Music Stations also).
1A iPhone charging through the USB port. There is not benefit for non iPhone so we recommend using an external charger for these phones.
Does not interfere with factory Bluetooth for calls.
For call information to show up the car must be programmed for a factory phone. Car does not have to be programmed for music information.
Not compatible with cars that do not have steering wheel controls.
Only cars that have the mode button can show call information.
If you are using the factory SiriusXM tuner you will need an Enfig AudiSatPass to retain it.
Addons
Enfig RRK4 – keys required to remove the factory radio.
Dension EXT1CP2 – External box with AUX and USB extension. Has a reset button and a status light to help with troubleshooting.
Enfig MIC-AUD4 – Custom microphone that fits in the factory location. Provides better sound and since it hidden looks better too.

It was important to keep the factory head unit for aesthetics, car value, collectibility and overall originality of the stock dash appearance. But, the older the unit the harder for complete connectivity with todays smart phones. Enfig fixed all my issues and I kept the steering wheel controls, phone calls, factory Sirius receiver, satellite roof antenna and GPS and now I’m able to stream all my media like Pandora, Car Play, iTunes with cable or BT. The product was mostly as described, but like anything new it takes a little getting used to. The only thing I didn’t like was, you can’t look at your phone information on the actual radio itself, unless I’m doing something wrong which is possible. Either way I’m happier with the unit than without it.

First off, Christian answered multiple questions I asked through email concerning fitment for my Audi B7 S4. Thanks for that. Purchased the GWP1AC1 to stream my iPhone XS through the symphony 2+. It simply works. Connects when the car is started, scrolls song title currently playing in the center display, and advances previous or next song from steering wheel control. I use the Audi Bluetooth for phone calls, and the two work seamlessly. Assembly took a couple of hours, but could do it again much quicker. Not difficult. I wanted to keep the factory appearance of the symphony radio, and the Bose setup is sufficient for me. Then again, Geddy Lee sounds good on any radio. Thanks Enfig

Fantastic Product I would highly recommend
First off – thanks to Christian answered multiple questions I asked through email and phone for or my 2008 Audi S4. My car factory Bluetooth and no Nav screen, iPod or glovebox CD.
The instruction video made install quick and easy. I ran the Dension EXT1CP2 aux/USB extension to the glove box and a USB extension to an empty spot on the dash next to the traction control button.
The unit itself works seamlessly with the factory phone Bluetooth. The Bluetooth audio and USB connection sound great. When connecting to the USB it charges phone reads as a iPod.

Easy install, simple plug and play set up. Works well but occasionally glitches and will need to be reset with the extension. A bit of delay when changing songs with the steering wheel controls as well. Called enfig before buying with a few questions and they were super nice and helpful.

Very good product. Doing what it will need to do. Maybe better instructions when we have to make choice to plug or unplug with existing bluetooth car option. But, nice option to add bluetooth audio (music) transmission via iPhone or anything else mobile device.

This is exactly what the car was missing. 2006 Audi A4 S line with navigation radio. Product works great and I was able to keep the OEM look and OEM phone! The sound is like crisp and I am more than happy with this product. Highly recommend it!

Great product install was pretty straight forward except for switching the phone over to the dension from the stock Bluetooth. Could be explained a little better in instructions but one email to Enfig and problem solved!
