This is an upgradeable AUX input. You can connect a 3.5 mm wire to play audio from your device. It also has a 9 pin port for upgrades.
Upgrades
Since most manufacturers are deleting the aux port on phones this unit is not recommended to play music from your phone.
BTA-AUX –ย This is our most popular upgrade. It receives wireless music including navigation prompts from your phone and plays it through your radio.
IPDU-AUX –ย This is an iPhone only upgrade. It playsย music from your iPhone through a USB connection.. Next and previous song and charging are also done through the USB connection.

Great product. I had a $2k kenwood radio. It was great but I basically only used it for nav and bluetooth. My old stock radio could not do bluetooth or audio in. I bought this product, put the stock radio back in, and it sounds better then ever. I used it to attach the Amazon car echo device. Now I have a stock radio that I speak to via alexa. Very cool product.
