Love it – I love this product and it works great in my 2006 BENZ CLS-500. Perhaps slightly more difficult for the DIY guy than the video indicates (tough to shove all those wires up out of the way on reinstall, and wiring the microphone in the overhead console was tricky) but the video was VERY helpful. Thanks.
Mine is easier to use than the factory unit in my wife’s new BMW. Also provides a factory phone experience for my car. Decided I’m keeping this car a few more years, so unit has sort of paid for itself!

Good product and Support – I bought this because I don’t want to replace the original Mercedes COMAND unit. There are replacement after-market units that theoretically work like the COMAND, but I don’t trust that they will work correctly.
I just wanted to find a way to:
*Have a digital input to the COMAND, I did not want to use the AUX headphone jack. The jack makes a digital signal analogue and then the COMAND processes it again. There is a significant loos of sound quality.
*I did NOT want to always have to hook up the phone or iPod when I get in the car.
*I wanted to be able to control the iPhone/Pod from the COMAND unit or steering wheel.
*I wanted to see the title information on the COMAND display. With the AUX jack, nothing is displayed.
*I want to leave an iPod or retired iPhone in the glove box and have music in the car. I it to be charged when the car is on.
So, this device does everything! The video on youtube helped a lot. The only negative is the learning curve, but it is not hard to learn

Works GREAT ..EXCEPT – The product itself was easy to install. The Mercedes SL550 made it more difficult tearing the car apart to get to the CD changer to connect your product. Once installed it works well. I’m not happy that the only thing I can control from the steering wheel is the volume and the tracks but it is after all an after market product. I get confused on how to maneuver through the menus and it’s best to be at a stop light or off the road when you try to change sources, playlist (iPod function) etc. It’s probably a learning process. Took me a while to learn the factory controls on the steering wheel of the E350 (same year) to control the iPod.

My Take – The guy who installed this unit said “it’s pretty trick.” I have trouble figuring out how to work the Blue Tooth so I just plug it in to the USB cable.

GW52M02 in SL500 – Installed the GW52M02 in my 2006 Mercedes-Benz SL500 to be able to use an old iPOD for music and audiobooks.
The iPod I’m using is a classic with color screen and wheel control, the Dension iPod cable is required for it to work. I tried to use the USB connection but didn’t recognize the iPod.
Enfig was very helpful and now that it is working it works as well as the standard Mercedes audio controls, clutsy but it does get the job done.
The installation took a while but I managed it on my own. Tearing down the interior to get access to the CD Changer wiring looked daunting but was actually fairly straight forward – but do invest the $10 or so for a set of interior wedges to remove the interior trim strips and panels. Recommend you do the job when you can work with the top down, much easier to get to everything.

2006 E 320 Install – I’m an experienced installer, and I found this install easy and straight forward after watching the YouTube installation video. Bluetooth calling works seamlessly, and so does the Bluetooth audio. The menu is not the most intuitive to use, but once you figure it out it works well. I would definitely recommend this to a friend.

Porsche 997.1 GW52MO1 500S BT – I’ve been searching for a solution to update my Porsche 2008 with common Multi-media features for quite some time. I came across Enfigcarstereo and the Dension car solution through intensive online search. I’ve just recently installed the Dension GW52MO1 500S BT in to my Porsche 911, and so far I’m very happy with the product.

Great product & excellent product support – Great customer support, Christian called me to make sure I am ordering right model for my car and later helped with all my questions.
GW52MO2 500S BT – requires little bit of configuration after the installation, which is confusing at first, but it’s not a rocket science. Every component of the Gateway & every device connected to it has separate setting & configuration (MIC volume, Call volume, BT volume, etc). MIC is working great and phone quality is amazing, music from BT, USB or iPod/Phone sound extremely amazing. It took me about 1h to install and 1 h to configure everything to work with my car Head Unit – MB E500 2005 with Red & Green buttons.
O.M.G. – delivery was lightning fast.
