This are our Smart Radio Wiring Harnesses (SRWH). The large HILO box fixes all the audio issues found in Audi’s. The small box reads your cars computer signals and provides switched power, illumination, reverse, parking brake and vehicle speed sense. The small box also translates your steering wheel controls but a Steering Wheel Control Programmer (SWCL) must also be purchased separately since not all cars have steering wheel controls.
We also sell a version made with the iDatalink Maestro product. It uses the iDatalink Maestro for steering wheel controls (when used with a Maestro compatible radio they react quicker) and other advanced features available with a Maestro compatible radios. It uses our HILO box to provide the audio signal needed by your R8. The maestro box does not pick up the illumination and reverse signals on some cars, so we also include our small box to handle the illumination, reverse, parking brake and vehicle speed sense. This cable will connect your factory backup camera to your new radio. It connects behind the factory backup camera module so it will not keep the swinging lines that show up on the factory radio. This item is optional becasue some early models did not have a rear camera.

Since your car is equipped with a factory GPS radio it also has a factory GPS antenna connection behind the radio. The adapter below connects the factory GPS antenna behind your radio and converts into the connection your aftermarket radio is looking for. Even if your radio does not have built in GPS it may have a GPS input to hell the navigation from your phone.
